Disappointment?

It hurts, and it can kill a person. They say the only way to prevent yourself from getting disappointed is to not expect anything. I have no idea how others can do it, I don’t. I think life will be so uninteresting without a little bit of hope on things, which makes it hard for me to not expect anything from anyone. Sucks.
